§ 6.01. Continuation of Former Charter [and] Revisions.

  • All provisions of the former Charter as amended by law or otherwise, and the proposed amendment, or amendments, as the case may be, set forth in that certain "Ordinance Proposing Amendments to Sections 8, 16 and 30 of the Charter of the Town of St. Leo, Pasco County, Florida, Pursuant to Section 166.17, Florida Statutes, and Calling for a Referendum upon such Amendments" adopted December 13, 1971, by the Town Commission of the Town of St. Leo, which are not inconsistent with this Charter shall become ordinances of the Town, subject to modification or appeal [repeal] in the same manner as other ordinances of the Town.

Provisions of the former Charter, Laws of Fla. ch. 67-1989, as amended, which are converted to ordinances by § 6.01 above, have been incorporated into the Code of Ordinances and re-enacted by the adoption of said Code. Such provisions are indicated by the history note enclosed in parentheses following the appropriate provisions of the Code of Ordinances.
