§ 2-56. Temporary filling of vacancies in appointive offices.

In the event there is a vacancy in any town appointive office caused by the resignation, death or removal of such officer, the mayor shall have the right, power and authority to appoint an acting official to fill such vacancy until the next regular meeting of the town commission.
